Whole-House Repiping

Rusty water, low pressure, and constant leaks mean your pipes are failing. A whole-house repipe solves the problem permanently — and we do it with minimal disruption to your home and daily life.

Permanent Solution

Replace Failing Pipes for Good

Many homes in Sarasota and the surrounding Suncoast were built with galvanized steel or polybutylene pipes that deteriorate over time. Corrosion builds up inside these pipes, restricting flow, discoloring water, and eventually causing pinhole leaks that can lead to serious water damage.

A whole-house repipe replaces all the failing supply lines with modern PEX or copper piping, restoring full water pressure, eliminating rust and discoloration, and ending the cycle of constant leak repairs. It's an investment that protects your home for decades.

Our repiping crews have completed hundreds of residential repipes across Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice. We work efficiently, minimize wall penetrations using flexible PEX routing, and leave your home clean and patched when we're done.

Repiping FAQ

How do I know if my home needs repiping?

Signs include discolored water (brown or rust), low water pressure throughout the house, frequent leaks in different locations, visible pipe corrosion, and water that tastes or smells metallic. Homes built before 1970 with galvanized steel pipes are especially likely candidates.

How long does a whole-house repipe take?

Most residential repipes take 2-5 days depending on the size of the home, accessibility, and the number of fixtures. We minimize wall and ceiling damage with strategic access points and patch everything when we're done.

What type of pipe do you recommend?

We primarily use PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) for residential repiping. PEX is flexible, resists scale and chlorine, handles Florida's water conditions well, and installs with fewer joints — meaning fewer potential leak points. For main lines, we use copper or CPVC depending on the application.

Will repiping damage my walls?

We make small, strategic access openings and use flexible PEX tubing to minimize cuts. After the repipe, we patch and repair all access points. Many homeowners are surprised at how little disruption there actually is.

Is repiping covered by homeowner's insurance?

It depends on your policy and the reason for repiping. If pipes have burst and caused water damage, insurance may cover the damage repair but not always the repiping itself. We can document the condition of your existing pipes to support any insurance claim.
